March 30th reflection

 Today we went in our groups and did some work. I like my group because i know them enough to talk to them. We've all had classes together in the past. And they are good people. Plus we split up the work which makes it way easier. 

March 29 reflection

 Working in groups aren't that bad if the people do their jobs. If everyone do their parts then that's fine. But when one person does all the work, i hate that. It's easier for me to get work done in a group if i don't have to do everything. And working with people is fine as long as i know them.

March 26 reflection

 Today i went to work, and i ran the cash register, and i closed up the store. I met a few of my co-workers who were around my age range. And as i was at the register, this lady was waiting next in line and when i said," I can take who's next" she said " Oh, i didn't see you there" and that's when i told her " Oh it's fine, I'm pretty small". She laughed and i rung her up. And i have had plenty of nice customers today, and this one  lady was really nice, she offered to buy me something inside of the store but i couldn't let her do that, and it's not because i didn't know her. It's because the jacket she picked out i wouldn't of wore it, so i didn't want to waster her money.

March 23 Reflection

 Today we talked about claims and evidence. I was paying attention halfway because this lady was arguing with this man outside. I tried not to listen but it was getting interesting. She went from yelling at this man, to yelling a women, to yelling at another women.  It's hot in the Bronx and she had on a tracksuit, which made me hot, but that;s not the point. My point is class was short today and i had front row seats to an altercation. 

March 22, reflection

 We went over topics .We went from topic to topic. Plenty of people eat generic foods, i know i do. I almost fell asleep in class because it was a little dry today.

Reflection March 19th

 Today we took a test in class. I hope i passed it. I was eating during the test so i hope i spelled everything right. I hate taking test; its annoying. I also hate projects, but at least this project sounds easy.

March 18th, review

Today we've talked about analyzing a picture. I couldn't hear a lot of because people in the Bronx honk their horns all day and night like chick-fil-a is having a free chicken sandwich all week. But i still got majority of the information. I do know that we have to do a project soon. It seems like the project will be easy. 

March 16th review

 We learned some new vocabulary words.  We wrote a claim with reasoning. I made mines about how education is boring. And i stated my reasoning and explanation. 

March 15th review

 Today we went over arguments. Your arguments should be the focus of your essay. Use the sources to develop an argument. Explain your reasoning for it. Avoid summarizing your sources. 

March 11th Review

 Today we've talked about things to do before writing a paper. First you need to understand the prompt. Next you take a position; then read the sources to determine the position of the source. Then, as your reading, you will highlight quotes that you can use in your paper. Also generate the claims; create the thesis statement. And then finally start writing your paper.

March 9th, review

 Apostrophes can be used for contractions and possession. For contractions; some examples are it's, don't, can't , and you're. For possessions, you have singular and plural apostrophe. Jesus' lives. And Jesus's lives are two different examples. Semicolons are used to break up having long sentences. 

Monday March 8th review

 Today i learned about uses of commas. For example to separate two complete sentences you could use a comma. Another example would be after an incomplete thought you could use a comma. Also, use a comma to separate an opposite phrase. Finally you can use a comma for the greeting and closing. 

March 4th review

 Today in class we didn't learn anything because we wrote our essays. An essay is 3 or more paragraphs. You have a introduction. Where you have to come up with an claim and evidence, in the 1st paragraph. In the 2nd paragraph you have to give you reasoning examples and etc. Finally your 3rd paragraph you have your conclusion where you just close out on your claim.

March 1st Review

 Today we went over writing paragraphs. Thesis and claims are something we went over as well. Writing paragraphs are more difficult to do during the AP exam. Than it is just doing it in class. But i'm working on it and i hope to pass the AP exam.
